I cannot get enough of blood oranges right now. They have so much flavor, and that deep pink color gets me every time! They also offer a little bright spot this time of year, which I can really use right about now. Are you with me here? January seems like such a blah month that I need a little pick-me-up. Luckily, blood oranges do the trick, especially when you make cookies with them!
Happy Friday guys! I know things have been a bit quiet around here lately, and that’s because I was on vacation. A much needed and extremely relaxing cruise to Bermuda, and it was fantastic! I’m finding that I’m still in vacation mode, you know that whole I need a vacation when you get back from a vacation thing? I know, it’s a tough life I lead 
Anyway, I thought a nice light, boozy cookie would be a great way to get back into the swing of things.
I know the name sounds a little ridiculous, but say it a few times and it will grow on you! Maybe it sounds good to me right now due to the fact that I’m feeling the effects of a good night out last night. We were at the Billy Currington concert, and it was beyond amazing! This explains why this post was not up early this morning like I intended… Anyway, I’ll definitely share more about the concert soon, but for now let’s get back to rhubarb.
