Good morning, friends! Are you planning on starting your Saint Patrick’s Day celebrations this weekend? As I was looking through all my Saint Patrick’s Day sweets deciding what I’m going to make, I realized there are a lot of recipes here, and major decisions to be made! I also thought it would be helpful to put everything in one place, so I put together a sweet round-up where you’ll find all your favorites and maybe discover a few new ones! From shamrock cookies, to cheesecake, to boozy scones, to the best traditional Irish brown bread, its all here!
Let’s start our journey with the little cookies that started it all: Baileys irish Cream Shamrock Cookies!
I was so in love with those cookies that I needed to make Baileys Sated Caramel Chocolate Shamrock Cookies… Don’t say I didn’t warn you!
Continuing on with even more chocolate, Baileys Irish Cream Brownies. Decadence at it’s finest, and that layer of spiked buttercream totally seals the deal!
While we recover from the brownies, here’s some Irish Coffee Scones to start your day. Yes, I did put booze in the scones, and they’re even better with a schmear of whiskey butter. Whiskey. Butter.
Now for the recipe that always makes me feel like I’m home: Peggy’s Irish Brown Bread.
Baileys Irish Cream Bondies because blondes have more fun! These are perfect if you’re having a party! I mean, they basically are a party.
I told you we have more fun! Magners Hard Cider Brown Butter Blondies are some sort of magic!
If you are having a dinner party, I suggest making Irish Coffee Cheesecake. Actually, if you have anything going on any day throughout the year that you think calls for celebration, I suggest making this cheesecake. It’s that good.
If you’re having a party and don’t feel like turning on the oven, The Nutty Irishman Tiramisu is calling your name. This is another one that will become a go-to and it’s so easy to make!
If you haven’t baked with hard cider yet, I encourage you to start with these Magners Hard Cider Brown Butter Waffles. Whether you start your day with them, or maybe end it, you can’t go wrong! And let’s face it, you’re probably going to need them after all that celebrating 😉
I told you there are major decisions to be made! Not that I want to add to the big decision, but I’m not done yet! There’s another recipe coming your way very soon, and spoiler alert: I think it kind of takes the cake!
Thanks so much to everyone who has already started baking, that Irish Coffee Cheesecake is definitely getting around! I’m thrilled that you’re enjoying it and I’d love see what you’re making, so don’t be shy! Snap a pic and share it on Facebook or Instagram with #ButtercreamBlondie.
