Boozy S’mores Shake

Boozy S'mores Shake | ButtercreamBlondie.com

Sometimes you just need a boozy milkshake.  You need to throw the ingredients in a blender, toss in some good stuff, and blend away.  Yup, blend away all your stress my friends.

It’s been one of those weeks.  You know, the kind of week that despite your best efforts it’s just one “womp, womp, womp” moment after the next.  The kind of week where you just want to go dive on the couch, place your hand over your head, and do the whole woe is me thing.  A bit on the dramatic side so I’ve been told.

So, what’s a girl to do?  Since I don’t like to dwell on the negative, I’ll spare you the rant and skip to the good stuff.  A few sips of this boozy shake and you’ll realize it will all be okay. A marshmallow dipped in chocolate and rolled in graham cracker crumbs will also help the situation.  Looks pretty too!

In my book, boozy milkshakes are always a good idea, especially when you stumble upon s’mores vodka.  Sweet, boozy, and frozen fits the bill for a day at the pool, or any end up summer parties happening this weekend.  Maybe you want to drown your sorrows in the fact that summer is just about over.  Maybe you’re happy about this, so cheers to fall.  Any way you spin it, this is a good idea.  So go ahead, just dive right in!

Boozy S’Mores Shake

Yield: 10 ounces

Ingredients

  • 2 big scoops (8 ounces) vanilla ice cream or chocolate or Frangelico
  • 2 Tablespoons + 1 teaspoon graham cracker crumbs
  • 2 Tablespoons chocolate ganache or any chocolate sauce
  • 2 Tablespoon S'mores vodka
  • 1 Tablespoon heavy cream
  • 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 Tablespoon fluff

Instructions

  1. Put all ingredients except fluff in blender and mix till frothy.
  2. Add fluff and blend till mixed.

Notes

For chocolate ganache, I microwaved 1 ounce of chocolate and 1 ounce of heavy cream. You can also use chocolate sauce.

To rim the glass, dip in melted chocolate & then graham cracker crumbs.

This yields 1 large drink, 2 normal sized drinks, or 4 shots.

If you can't find s'mores vodka, you can use fluffed marshmallow vodka.
