Buttercream Blondie is a boutique, e-commerce dessert company that serves classic desserts with a spirited twist. Created from founder Meghan McGarry’s dream of shipping desserts, the constant question “Do you ship?”, and the feeling that the whole world was in need of a giant care package, Buttercream Blondie Dessert Company was born. McGarry’s signature line of boozy cookies immediately took off and are now available to ship nationwide.
From using ingredients such as top shelf spirits and liqueurs to Madagascar vanilla beans and the finest Belgian chocolate, not one detail is overlooked in the baking process. Each small batch is handmade and baked to order with Meghan's meticulous care. Nothing is better than getting freshly baked goods in the mail, and if they happen to be a little boozy, even better!

Meet Meghan McGarry
Pastry chef, personality, and entrepreneur Meghan McGarry is the founder of Buttercream Blondie Dessert Company, where she has cemented herself as a household name through zhushing up America’s favorite desserts with spirits and liqueurs.
A Bronx, New York native, McGarry originally pursued a finance degree before she shocked her parents by trading in her calculator for a Kitchen-Aid. McGarry baked her way through New York’s celebrated French Culinary Institute under the guidance of the legendary Dean Jacques Torres and became an executive pastry chef by the age of 26. She channeled her experience working alongside industry luminaries in New York into building successful pastry departments from the ground up in high-end bakeries and eateries in the Greater Boston Area. Along the way, she honed her culinary mantra: “Flirt with dessert.”
Her successes led to her work as a recipe developer and creative director with trusted brands such as Farberware, Frangelico, and more. Her creations have also been featured in The Los Angeles Times, The Boston Globe, Buzzfeed, The Huffington Post, Better Homes & Gardens, Redbook, Cake Central Magazine, and The Cooking Channel.
Using her years of industry experience, fastidious attention to detail, and love of care packages to build her brand, McGarry launched Buttercream Blondie Dessert Company in late 2020. An immediate success, Buttercream Blondie now ships her signature line of boozy bakes nationwide. In addition to shipping desserts, baking workshops and events have resumed in McGarry’s home studio in Nashville, which she affirms is the best and most fun part of her job. Where else can you learn to make tipsy treats like the Instagram-famous Red Wine Cupcakes? As for what’s next on the dessert table, McGarry says, “We’re just getting started!”
